• Support identification of maintenance process inefficiencies by accompanying field service employees in the field 
• Review identified risk based maintenance gaps for critical pumps and blowers, especially on preventive and predictive maintenance and spare parts
• Ensure adequate appropriate front-end-loading to agreed PM routines by preparing and defining work processes, results documentation and responsibilities to a sufficient extent.
• Include endorsed and agreed PM activities into SAP.
• Review stored spare parts against equipment spare parts list, actively look for vendor support, where needed
• Review existing and develop new recommendations on spare parts requirements
• Initiate technical specification for spare parts and collaborate with BP procurement to purchase required spares
• Take care of SAP spare parts lists and add items, which require to be stocked.
• Support the identification of machinery (balance of plant equipment) bad actors with the highest potential for OSA losses
• Develop recommendations for identified machines to increase reliability and availability 
• Develop maintenance plans for the identified machines taking into consideration realistic failure mechanisms, industry best practices and vendor/OEM recommendations
• Support the implementation of best practices for pump management, including preparation of training materials for operators and maintenance employees
• Initiate a reasonable pump switching strategy including an evaluation of risks associated with pump switching. Identify pumps to be included into the pump switching process after consultancy with operations.
• Support the development of an operator care training for balance of plant equipment 
• Deliver those trainings to operators including field demonstration on relevant systems

• Large Machinery (Centrifugal Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, Steam Turbines, Integrally Geared Compressors, Gearboxes)
• Review TAR Machinery Overhaul plan for large machinery
• Assist site machinery team to ensure all spares and required tools are available on time
• Assist site machinery team with the identification of lack of responsibilities and accountabilities to ensure interfaces are correctly managed
• Develop jointly with the site machinery team an oversight planning including QA/QC planning
• Support repeated readiness reviews for large machinery with vendors and site machinery team
• Review existing method statements for starting up and shutting down machinery equipment
• Support the development of training material covering start-up, shut-down and operator care of large machinery
• Support the delivery of machinery training to operators

Das bringst du mit

• Completed master craftsman/technician training or degree in mechanical engineering or similar (B.Sc./M.Sc., Dipl.-Ing.)
• Preferably completed relevant craft apprenticeship (industrial mechanic or similar)
• Relevant working experience with the maintenance of balance-of-plant equipment in the oil/gas, petrochemical or chemical industry
• Relevant working experience with maintenance in centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, gearboxes and reciprocating compressors
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of oil/gas, chemicals or petrochemicals
• Strong analytical skills, structured working approach
• Strong and open communication skills
• Confident use of the usual MS-Office tools (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, MS Teams, Excel)
• Confident use of SAP
• Language: English, Fluency in German optional, but strongly preferred
